Ever met an owl with garlic breath? No thought not.
Well the secret apparently is to chew on some parsely but to be honest, it’s not like I am trying to woo a lady owl at the moment so I am quite happy breathing my garlic breath over the kids as they lift my head off to rummage around inside me for treats.
BM makes incredible hummus, with a real kick to it, and as I am a relatively chilled out Owl, I am sure she adds the smoked, hot paprika to give me a jolt.
Recipe as follows and it is delish! Serve with crudites, tortilla chips or pitta bread for a tasty snack or starter.
1-2 x tins of chickpeas
Biiiiiiiiiiig glug of olive oil
3 x cloves of garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
Pinch of salt and a bigger pinch of pepper
Small pinch of hot paprika
Blend all ingredients in a blender and voila – ready to eat!
