50 Shades of grey. Own up who's read it and what do you think?

Well I’m on book two and I’m addicted- I can't put it down! There are about 6 of us in work reading it at the same time which to be honest makes it more enjoyable, as we are all taking about it on our lunch. It's like your part of a special club lol!! I know a lot of people think it is poorly written which I can sort of understand but doesn’t particularly bother me too much as you get lost in the story and therefore don't seem to care. I think the books are well worth a read! :-)

I haven't read them, I hate doing what 'everyone' does so therefore I'm not reading them. I'm told they aren't very well written and to be honest I stick to crime thrillers really. 

I expect to hear of a major baby boom in about 6mths time though ;)

I haven't read them yet but have heard mixed reviews from friends. I think I will just have to read them to see what all the hype is about  : -)

And once you are finished with Mr Grey, you should give 'Bared to You' by Syvia Day a go. It's a bit of a copycat and Gideon Cross is no 50 Shades, but well worth a read. :-))

I have read them all - twice, and have lost many an evening to the exlpoits of Ana and Christian!! I absolutely loved them, and felt really sad when they were all inished.  The juicy bits are great, but it's theie blossoming relationship that I fell in love with and I just don't understand why people say it's badly written.  yes it's total fiction that you would find a drop dead handsome, kinky, billionaire to fall in love with, but isn't that why we all love to read.  My husband isn't too sorry I've read them either ;-)))

I have read 50 shades of grey and can't wait to read 50 shades darker, its a gripping novel in more ways than one.  I feel that although its classed as an erotic novel it's stil has a very romantic edgy feel to the storyline which is good.
