Chickpeas are a convenient and very cheap source of protein. Serve with a whole wheat bread to complete the nutritional balance. Mash ingredients together with a fork if you prefer a textured burger.

Approx price: £2.03 or 50p per portion

Servings: 4

Total time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 400 g chickpeas
  • 2 teaspoon garlic puree
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried chilli
