Spicy potato wedges

Much healthier than a frozen chipped potato. Easy to prepare, great full flavour and fantastic alongside many dishes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoon paprika (pepper)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 4 baked potato (large)

Method

  • Oven Temperature: 350ºF – 180ºC – Gas Mark 4 – Moderate
  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
  • Wash and dry the potatoes
  • Cut the potatoes into wedges (8 per potato)
  • Place them on a roasting tin, rub in the oil and coat the potatoes with the dry spicy mix
  • Place in the hot oven for approximately for 20 mins or until cooked. Turning once or twice
