This is a beautiful white play kitchen made out of non-toxic lacquered MDF. It’s on castors, so is easy to move around the room – and is also really simple to put together.

What I liked about the product

Vertbaudet Play KitchenetteFirstly, the simple, clean shape of the kitchenette was really appealing. After having a ‘Hello Kitty’ kitchen in bright pink plastic, this beautiful wooden, white, square kitchen was a godsend in my eyes.

I loved the painted-on designs of the utensils and I felt that the quality of the product was outstanding. Nice and sturdy. I almost didn’t want Phoebe to start playing with it because it would get dirty! Fussy mum, heh?!

So much storage inside, it was like a tardis! You open the front door and there are two deep shelves that split into storage compartments. The door itself also had two shelves, almost like a refrigerator door. So handy to keep all the kitchen bits n’ bobs together.

vertbaudet play-kitchenettePhoebe adores her kitchenette. In the mornings I ask her for a cup of tea and some breakfast and she bounces off to make mummy some sort of weird concoction.

We’ve had hours and hours of fun with this wonderful toy, and I love the fact the Phoebe’s imagination is unleashed: “Chocolate cake with marmite, mummy?” Ooh, yes please Phoebe, don’t mind if I do!

What I didn’t like

Oh gosh, do I really have to fill this bit in? What is there not to like? There isn’t anything negative that I can say in all honesty.

Would I recommend this product?

I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a kitchen for their child. Please, please don’t go for the plastic variety, this wooden one is so much better in quality and design. It will most certainly stand the test of time and bring hours of fun and imagination into your household.

Is it good value for money?

It retails for £95. It is absolutely worth the money and will last you a good few years. My son also loves playing with it and he’s five and a half so it certainly delivers value for money.
