I get great satisfaction when I can fill the shelves of the oven with a complete dinner. Not only is this baked potato easier on my time but I also get to save some money by saving energy.

Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 2 tblsp cream cheese
Method
- Oven temperature: 350F – 180C – Gas Mark 4 – Moderate
- Wash and dry potatoes. Score a cross on the surface going down a quarter into the flesh
- Place in a metal dish. Cover in foil
- Bake in the oven for approximately 60 minutes. Remove foil about half way if you like a crispy potato
- When cooked and ready to serve, pinch the sides of the potato to push up the flesh
- Top with cream cheese or any other filling
