Blackened Cajun salmon

A fresh, healthy and delicious meal in less than 30 minutes. Oily fish contains the right type of fat (Omega 3), and seasoned with these Cajun spices creates a delicious mixture of flavours.

Frozen salmon pieces can be used – defrost first.

Total time: 30 minutes


  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun spice
  • 240g noodles
  • 1/2 courgette
  • 1 onion (medium)
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 pinch seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons sweet chilli sauce


  • Season salmon and pan fry on moderate heat for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally (fry top side first)
  • Once turned, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning
  • Steam noodles by placing in boiling water in a covered saucepan for 5 minutes or until cooked
  • Slice and dice vegetables and sauté until cooked (season)
  • Drain noodles and add to vegetables – reheat
  • Arrange noodles in bowl and place salmon on top
