Cabbage and grated carrot

No more boiling cabbage for hours with smells lingering throughout the house and because you’re stir frying the vegetables you don’t loose the Vitamin C content. Double yummy!

Ingredients

  • 250g cabbage half a cabbage
  • 3 carrots (grated)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil

Method

  • Finely slice cabbage and grate carrots
  • Heat oil in a wok
  • Add cabbage, cook for 5-7 minutes, tossing frequently, using tongs
  • Season and sprinkle with pinch of nutmeg. Add carrots just before serving, mix in thoroughly
  • Serve immediately
