A simple recipe for all the family to enjoy and to get that all important omega 3. Delicious served piping hot with winter root vegetables such as cabbage and grated carrots.

Total time: 35 minutes


  • 1 tin tuna (large)
  • 300g pasta (dried)
  • 100g cheese
  • 50g bread crumbs
  • 300ml white sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried chilli (optional)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped and fried)


  • Preheat Oven
  • Oven Temperature: 325ºF – 160ºC – Gas Mark 3 – Moderate
  • Flake the tuna, add to the ready made white sauce, chilli flakes and fried onions
  • Cook the pasta to packet instructions, drain and set aside
  • Add pasta to the sauce mixture
  • Taste and season
  • Place in individual pots or one large one
  • Springle the top with breadcrumbs and grated cheese
  • Bake for 15 minutes
  • Use more than 1 tin of tuna if preferred, alternatively use salmon or cooked flaked chicken or turkey
