If you feel like a family outing is long overdue but are finding that admittance costs are putting you off, you may be interested to hear about a new offer at a family farm.
Old MacDonald's Farm is set in the Essex countryside not far from east London and is currently offering you the chance to visit for just £2.99 per person.
That means that for around the price of a round of family sandwiches you can get you, your other half and the kids finding out all about the everyday lives of farm animals.
The cheap ticket promotion means you'll be enjoying the attraction for much less than usual prices too. Adults normally pay £12.50 and children to teenagers are charged £11.50.
The offer is available from 21-25 November, meaning it could be a perfect antidote to the Christmas shopping trips that are beginning to fill up our free time. One thing to remember though is the offer is only available online at Old MacDonald's Farm website.
If you have little ones under two then they'll gain free admittance as usual.
While you're there you'll be able to get a closer look at animals such as pigs, goats and cows. The kids will also love the otters, geese and alpacas, too.
Aside from animals there are plenty of things to keep you all busy during your visit, with a range of indoor and outdoor soft play areas where the kids can run wild, as well as a number of rides.
