run with kidsDo you worry that there just aren't enough hours in the day, and that important things such spending time with the kids sometimes fall by the wayside amid your never-ending list of jobs?

If so, why not try combining some of the other things in your diary with hanging out with your little ones? That's what Olympic champion Sally Gunnell does, according to an interview with the Daily Telegraph.

The busy mum told the paper that she often goes out running with her sons, saying: "I love going out with my sons as it gives me quality one-on-one time with them."

Meanwhile, it's not just her kids Gunnell is running with these days.

She also said that she runs with mums she knows from her children's school, something which suggests we can also save time by melding exercising and socialising, chatting about the stresses of everyday life while pounding the tarmac. Take a look at our tips to help you find time to exercise.

She said: "Running helps me deal with the everyday stresses of being a busy mum. It gives me a chance to focus on my own needs as well as escape, think and reflect, so I'm more able to cope with whatever life throws at me.

"Most of the time I pair up with other mums from the school gates. They're all different ages, shapes, sizes and abilities, but it doesn't matter. We don't focus on running times, we just natter non-stop about anything and everything and put the world to rights."
