1. Extra Swimwear and Undies
You’ll need extra underwear and swimwear for your trip to the Siam Park Tenerife. When you ride the Volcano or the Jungle Snake, you’ll be dripping wet so having a spare pair or three of everything will mean you’ll be well prepared for all the fun.
If you’ve got boys then a great trick is for them to wear underwear underneath their trunks. This stops the netting in the trunks causing any discomfort
2. Sunscreen + Sunglasses
Sunscreen doesn’t last well in the water, so it’s a good idea to take a little extra to make sure you’re always protected. If you want to protect the environment, you can even look for a special eco-friendly sunscreen that’s safe for going in the water. Make sure to keep reapplying after you’ve washed it all off so you’re always protected from the UV rays.
Don’t forget those sunglasses too! The sun in Tenerife is sweltering and you’ll need shades so you can look cool, but also so you can look around without squinting.
3. Reusable Water Bottle
Make no mistake! Having fun is thirsty business and being thirsty at a attraction can be an expensive experience. Make sure you stay hydrated by packing reusable waters bottles and asking dining establishments for a free refill.
In theory, you and your little ones (or big ones) would spend all day in the water, splashing around and having a whale of a time but in practice we know that they’ll be plenty of time when you want to sit in the shade or take a bit of time out. With young children it’s easy for them to get bored so packing a few small family games, magazines or books can be a great way to encourage all the family to rest, take some time in the shade and top up their energy levels.
5. Water Safe Camera for Underwater Selfies
Many phones can work underwater now, but many still have trouble. We recommend taking a water safe camera for taking underwater selfies and getting fun snaps with the family in the pool area.
You’ll have these memories forever, and you can use them to post on Instagram or share with your family and friends who are missing out at home.
An easy to forget item but very important. Water earplugs are for swimmers and water activities, and perfect for protecting your ears while you get wet. Pack these special water earplugs and stop water getting into your ear canals and causing discomfort.
During crazy rides like the Jungle Snake or the Tower of Power at Siam Park Tenerife, water will definitely get into your ears. Having water earplugs will keep this water out and you’ll be happy you used them.
7. Dry bag – Keeps your Clothing and Tech Stuff Dry
If you have valuables or want to protect your stuff, then take a dry bag. You can keep all your clothes and tech in this bag and even if you fall in the water or go on a ride, your stuff will be safe.
You can also get a waterproof phone pouch so you can keep your phone on you at all times. The pouch will protect your phone when you go on the rides or get wet during your time at the park. This way you can keep your phone on you at all times instead of keeping it in the dry bag, so you are always available to stay in touch or make a call if you need to.
8. Microfiber Travel Towel
Towels are a must when you go to a water park, however you don’t want to pack thick towels which get soggy and wet. The best type of towels you can take on holiday are lightweight microfiber towels.
They are small and easy to pack, and you can take two or three towels and still not take up much space in your luggage. They dry fast and are comfortable to wear, so don’t forget to take a microfiber towel on your trip to Siam Park Tenerife.
9. Floats for the Kids
If you have kids, or you’re just young at heart, then take some floats with you. The park allow you to take safety floats, but you might have trouble with anything larger. Safety floats can fit on your kids arms or around their waist to make sure they are always safe in the water.
10. Flip Flops or Water Shoes
You can buy comfy waterproof shoes or flip-flops to wear so you don’t have to walk around barefoot. These will keep your feet safe as you’re having fun in Siam Park Tenerife. There are many places you can buy these types of shoes, from Amazon to any beach store in Tenerife. Just don’t get stuck in the park without buying them or you’ll have to walk around barefoot.
I’m sure you already thought of some of these items for your Siam Park Tenerife holiday, and I hope by reading this you’ve found a few more that you didn’t think of.
